There’s only a few days left of January and what a busy time it has been! We hope everyone has had a productive month and is ready to take on everything 2022 has to offer - we certainly are!
Here at CIJ Group, we hosted our first Power Pitching event of the year on January 13th, themed all around Valentine’s Day, and WOW what an event it was!
We had a stellar line up of 9 brands across a wide variety of gifting categories such as hampers, beauty, food, drinks, books and jewellery. This ensured journalists were treated to a fabulous mix of products being showcased, catering for all different types of gift guides this Valentine’s Day…."What to get your girlfriend who has everything?" This event covered it all!
The brilliant brands we had in attendance were, Moonpig, Laithwaites, Merci Maman, Pasqua Wines, Hampers.com, Prezzybox, Wonderbly, Kocktail, and Glamoriser.
In total, we had 32 journalists in attendance from top ABC publications. We were delighted to welcome our media friends from the likes of Stylist, The Sun, Steph’s Packed Lunch, Metro, News UK, ITV Lorraine, Good Housekeeping, Hello!, Daily Mail, Reader’s Digest, PA Media, Fabulous, and many more!
The energy at the event was on point and we loved it! It wasn't just us who thought this event was a wonderful way to kick off the year… the feedback from the brands and journalists alike was pretty spectacular! But don’t just take our word for it…

We had the pleasure of working with Arena Flowers as our event partner, who sent each journalist a beautiful bouquet of flowers, specially curated for Valentine’s Day, ahead of the event. It was the perfect way to get everybody into the spirit of the event!
