Last month was filled to the brim with exciting Power Pitching Events and on the 29th of September we headed back across the pond - albeit via Zoom! - to host our annual Holiday Gift Guide Short Lead event.
The event was a huge success, with 100% of journalist attendees rating the event 5/5 in terms of satisfaction! Journalists loved meeting all of the brands and we were delighted to see that 5 of the brands who attended the event were featured in one or more recent Indy100 articles, all written by Kelsey Chapman, a journalist attendee at our event.
Kelsey featured The Tartan Blanket Co. in an incredible 3 Indy100 shopping articles, including one focussing on Christmas decor, one centred around Christmas shopping for mum and also a Holiday Party fashion guide, describing their products as “even more beautiful and rich-looking in person.”
Also featured in the Christmas decor article was The Twelve Cats of Christmas book from the brand Chronicle Books, who are regulars at our Power Pitching Events. Kelsey describes the book as “cute-as-a-button” and says it is the perfect “coffee table book” for this Christmas.
Merci Maman, Seasalt Cornwall and Dualit were also all featured in the ‘Shopping for Mum’ article. Kelsey thinks the Merci Maman Personalized Entwined Disc Necklace is a must-buy gift for your mum this Christmas, especially because the team leave a note informing the recipient of their engraver’s name and location, which she thinks creates a “special” feeling.
Another of Kelsey’s top picks when looking to buy for mums this Christmas, is the Seasalt Cornwall Sand Song Cardigan, which she says is “as soft as it is stylish.”
Lastly, Kelsey informs Indy100 readers of five perks of the Dualit Classic Kettle, with the number one benefit being that once you buy a Dualit product, “you'll likely almost certainly never have to replace it!”
