Father’s Day Gifts Power Pitching Case Study

It’s that time of the year again when consumers rack their brains on what to get the special men in their lives when Father’s Day creeps ever closer, and the age-old combination of socks and chocolate just won’t cut it this year. 


Men are notoriously hard to buy for, which is why national journalists want to help their millions of readers by providing gift guides and inspiration to help make shopping this year that little bit easier and the presents more memorable.


That’s why this May, we hosted our Father’s Day Gifts Power Pitching press event. A virtual event uniting 24 national media from top publications, with online and high street brands and retailers providing the ultimate Father’s Day gift solutions fit for all manner of Kings.


The brand and retailer line-up featured; MenKind, ALDI, Moonpig, Art Fund, Wonderbly, Tassimo Coffee, Border Buscuits, and L’OR with their wide selection of gifting ranges and unique stories to go with them!


The brands and retailers were given the opportunity to share their top 10 most desired national media that they find the hardest to engage with, to be invited to the event for them to finally meet face to face. Alongside this and our expert selection from our trusted little black book, the media in attendance comprised of ITV Lorraine, IndyBest, Good Housekeeping, Closer, Metro, GB News, Fabulous, The Daily Mail, HELLO!, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, Woman&Home and more. 


We interviewed the media following the event to find out how they found the power hour, and 100% of the media surveyed rated the hour as excellent and want to come back for more;
